deploy/adopt is focused on discussions related to optimizing the use of technology in the enterprise. My name is Christopher Ross, and I am the primary author and comment moderator for deploy/adopt.
Over a career spanning 25 years developing applications, managing an IT shop and providing consulting services on business productivity and infrastructure optimization worldwide, this is another medium by which I can share my observations on and experiences in on making the most of the applications, servers and services available today.
Today, I am a technology consultant, helping companies rationalize IT investments and develop their social media marketing plans. I have worked with Fortune 500 companies worldwide on business and IT infrastructure optimization, speaking before and advising many industry and trade groups on these topics. Most recently, I spent over 8 years at Microsoft Corporation, the past 7 of which as a senior leader responsible for technology deployment and adoption across more than 4,000 of their largest customers.
